Upgraded Chatter Free Solid Carbide Endmill Lines

Highlights

  • New range of tools with internal coolant capability


Following market demand, ISCAR is upgrading the EC-H4L, EC-H5M and ECP-H4L chatter free solid carbide endmill lines by updating the tool dimensions, expanding the range of radius sizes, and adding new tools with internal coolant capabilities.

The following endmill lines are recommended for alloy steel (up to 54 HRc), stainless steels, HRSA and cast irons:
  • EC-H4L - Suitable for shouldering applications and slotting up to 1.5xD. Also available with central coolant hole for fluent chip evacuation, especially in pocketing operations.
  • EC-H5M - Suitable for shouldering applications with a maximum axial depth of cut 2xD.
    Also available with a central coolant hole for easy chip evacuation, especially in pocketing operations.
  • ECP-H4L with chip breakers - Suitable for shouldering applications and slotting up to 2xD axial depth of cut.
  • ECP-H5L with chip breakers - Suitable for shouldering applications up to 2xD and slotting up to 1xD.


The old versions of these tools will be phased out and replaced by new items, which will be phased in as soon as the existing inventory is depleted.
