The new HELIDO H490 ANKX 170608PNTR rectangular insert has 4 helical right-hand cutting edges and it is very thick and strong.
The insert is clamped into a dovetail inclined pocket which provides a very rigid clamping. The insert has a wiper which leaves an excellent surface finish. The standard corner radius is 0.8 mm.

family features high durability, low cutting forces and excellent tool life.
The insert can be used for machining steel, stainless steel and cast iron at very high machining parameters. The
endmills
are available in a diameter range of 32 to 50 mm and
face mills
in a range of 40 to 160 mm.
Each face mill, starting at 50 mm in diameter ,is available in both fine and coarse pitch configurations. The tools can machine 90° shoulders up to 16 mm depth, plunge with up to 10 mm side step, and can perform
slotting
and facing operations.
